Elizabeth and Zach in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style

Weddings International was proudly featured in well renowned luxury bridal publication grace ormonde Wedding Style! The article profiled the romantic Borgo a Mozzano wedding of American actress Elizabeth Shapiro and groom Zach Sinick. Elizabeth describes the couple’s wedding theme, “Miss Havisham meets Florence + The Machine,” as more than a little unusual. Miss Havisham, the infamous spinster from Great Expectations who refuses to remove her mansion’s wedding decorations years after being left at the altar, represents Elizabeth’s idea of extravagant vintage glamour. While indie band Florence + The Machine represents Zach’s laid back, artistic style.

With the coordinating help of Weddings International, the couple was able to combine both elements successfully through unique decorative details and color schemes. The elaborate mixture of decrepit, elegant, rustic, and glitzy created a truly spectacular effect with a Tuscan villa as the perfect backdrop. Weddings International was able to completely transform the space to fit Elizabeth and Zach’s vision, incorporating chic furniture, lighting, and décor into an otherwise plain part of the venue.

Their vintage cake was created by designer Melanie Secciani, and included ivory hand-piped decorations inspired by ancient cameo carvings. Its base resembled worn stone architecture with overgrown moss to incorporate the Miss Havisham theme.Image
